and empty latex paint can (all must be in bags
with Collins stickers)
Automotive Batteries
Propane Cylinders
30 pounds or smaller and must be empty.
DO NOT put in scrap,
Scrap Metal/Steel
Cast iron, old car parts. Fence and wire must
be cut into 3 foot sections. Gas Tanks must
have a door flap of 3 cuts on top and
be opened.
Tires
Can be brought any time (must obtain ticket for tire disposal at Town Hall ).
Size limited to 22" passenger and light duty trucks. NO RIMS
White Goods
Stoves, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers,
washers and dryers, hot water tanks
(any day except TRASH DAY)
Wood
Few pieces of wood if less than four feet
in length.
Yard Waste
Leaves, brush, limbs less than four feet
in length.

NON-RECYCLABLE
Cottage cheese or yogurt containers, deli containers, styrofoam, pizza boxes, egg cartons, motor oil or antifreeze containers. Plastic # 6 and above are not acceptable.

Furniture, lawn equipment, carpet, linoleum, drywall paneling, some construction waste, sinks, toilets, fans, clothing, scrap metal and steel, foam mattress toppers
MATTRESSES
Twin (38" x 75") through California King (72" x 84") foundations and mattresses $20.00 each piece.
NOT ALLOWED ON TRASH DAY
Stoves, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washers and dryers. These can be taken any other day than trash day.

Guide to Recycling
Paper
Newspaper, magazines, paperback books, hardcover books with covers removed, junk mail.
Cardboard All cardboard is to be opened and flattened. (Do not crush). Included is corrugated, cereal, gift and shoe boxes.
Glass Bottles
All clear, green or brown food or
beverage containers.
Metal Cans
All metal food and beverage
containers including lids, pie tins, etc.
Plastic
Plastic food, soap and beverage
containers (screw on lids).
Milk Cartons
All milk cartons - remove lids
from plastic cartons.

Computers, monitors, keyboards, printerss, televisions.
Air conditioners only if TAGGED "GAS FREE"
If you are not sure on any item, please ask the attendants.
